Catch fruit flies (Drosophila) with vinegar

How to catch some 50 fruit flies in 100 minutes. Recipe: Equal amounts of water and any WHITE vinegar (red will not work - I don't know why, maybe it's the colour). Add to this just a few drops of detergent to reduce surface tension.
